Contract Business @home

Situation: An Alfen charging station was installed at your home by MobilityPlus through your previous employer. You/your new employer decides to take over the charging station on your departure. For CPO management of this charging station, your new employer/you (as a self-employed individual) would like to continue enjoying MobilityPlus services.

If your charging station was already in Plug & Charge, we can take over CPO management again provided a new SIM card is installed.

What are the advantages of the business @home contract?

Charging station

• As a self-employed individual, you have the option of placing your charging station in Public mode and thus generating income via public charging sessions. This is only possible in the case of an Alfen charging station with a display.
  In this case, the charging station is subject to the AFIR legislation.
  1. As for price transparency, a software update will ensure that consumer prices are shown on the display.
  2. A public charging station must accept a secure online payment method, this will be in the form of a dynamic QR code on the display.
• On the other hand, as a self-employed individual, you can also decide to place the charging station in Private mode. 
  In this case, it will only be accessible to your MobilityPlus charge card(s) and it will not be subject to the AFIR legislation.
• As a self-employed individual, you will have access to the MobilityPlus portal. Here you can view the charging sessions (public or private) on your charging station, the status of your charging station, start or stop a home charging session, restart your charging station,....
  As an employee, this is done via the MobilityPlus app.
• 24/7 hotline support
• Technical support (by telephone + on site)
  • Extra option ‘Fast response’: intervention (by phone/on site) within max. 5 working days in case of blocked technical problems, within max. 10 days if it is still possible to charge.
• Start charging session via RFID ((charge card)

Charge card

• MobilityPlus charge card with MSP subscription:
  1. Volume discount on subscription for 1 charging card or 2-10 charging cards
  2. Public charging on the MobilityPlus European network
  3. Start/stop charging sessions at home
  4. Access to the MobilityPlus app. Read more abouts its functionalities
• Optional: Friends & Family charge card
  1. no subscription cost
  2. only applicable if your home charging station is in Private mode
  3. charge card to give family members and friends access to your home charging station
  4. no automatic settlement of expenses
• 24/7 hotline support

Expense note / additional income

• Charging station in Private mode
  As a self-employed individual, you take care of the expenses and their payment to you (as a private person). You export the overview of your charging sessions from the MobilityPlus portal into Excel. Together with your accountant, you determine the cost of these sessions and the settlement to you as a private person. 
   
• Charging station in Public mode
  3-monthly, you will receive a purchase order number (+details) from MobilityPlus to invoice the public charging sessions at your home charging station to MobilityPlus. The rates applied are the charging rates you manage yourself in the MobilityPlus portal.

What without a business @home contract?

Charging station

• The charging station is set up in Plug & charge. You can still charge by plugging in the car's cable. A charging card is no longer needed to start/stop charging and consumption is on your own account.
• It is not possible to generate income by letting third parties charge
• MobilityPlus no longer provides any services (no hotline, no technical support (by phone or on site), no reporting)
• You no longer have access to the portal and consequently no possibility to retrieve data from home charging sessions to declare charging costs.

We will provide you with a document containing all data to access the charging station. With this data, you also have all the info you need to have the charging station managed by another CPO.

Charge card

Apart from this contract, you can still opt for a charge card with an MSP subscription to charge publicly on the MobilityPlus European network.
