When you leave the company, your Fleet Manager will let us know the date of your departure and also whether or not the charging station will be taken over by you.
1. Charge card
On the date of your departure, the subscription to your public charge card ends. This means that from then on you will no longer be able to charge publicly, nor on the company site(s).
2. Charging station
There are two options for the charging station:
-
You take over the charging station
If you can take over the charging station, your employer will provide you with the takeover price and conditions.
Once everything is finalised, your charging station is made available to you. We put it in Plug & Charge mode. You can then still charge by plugging in the car's charging cable. A charge card is no longer needed to start/stop charging and consumption is on your own expense.
=> Is your charging station located in an accessible place? Then switch off the fuse of the charging station to prevent third parties from charging at your expense.
You will receive a document from us with all the necessary info to access your charging station yourself or to arrange the transfer of CPO management with another party. If your new employer is interested in continuing CPO management via MobilityPlus, please let us know as soon as possible. In that case, it would be completely unnecessary to put your charging station in Plug & Charge.
Are you becoming self-employed? In that case, MobilityPlus can continue to support CPO management of your charging station. Read more here about our solution Business @home.
Once your charging station is released, it is no longer possible to monitor your home charging sessions in our My MobilityPlus platform, nor in the app. This is because you no longer have access to these environments.
-
The charging station is removed
We will contact you to make an appointment for the removal of the charging station.
Why do you put my charging station in Plug & Charge mode (charging without charge card) and not in Stand-alone mode (charging via charge card)?
If your charging station would be in Stand-alone mode and you lose your charge card or your charge card breaks down for some reason, it is impossible to start another charging session. Since MobilityPlus no longer manages your charging station, we can no longer offer you a solution in that case either. This is why Plug & Charge mode is the most secure solution, also in the long term.
Can I take over the subscription on my public charging card?
If you wish, you can take out a new subscription for a new charge card. Click here for more information and to make your request.
Can MobilityPlus continue CPO management for my takeover charging station?
CPO management of charging stations in private homes is not in our product offering.
If you leave your employer to become self-employed, you can continue to rely on MobilityPlus for CPO management of your charging station. Read more here about our solution Business @home.
