If your digital meter is not installed until your charging station is already operational, there are a number of things that need to be done to ensure that the charging station continues to charge optimally.
What do you do?
a) If an external energy meter is already present (Siemens pack + current transformers)
Send us a ticket with the maximum peak you reach on average with your home
This allows us to restrict the peak power of your charging station. This is important to avoid high peaks in relation to the capacity rate.
b) If there is no external energy meter
- Activate the P1 port of your digital meter
Read how to do this hereWhen switching to a new energy supplier, the P1 port is also deactivated again. Remember to reactivate it (or have it reactivated) when launching the new contract.
- Plug the UTP cable (it was already provided when your charging station was installed) into the P1 port of your digital meter. More info
- Send us a ticket with the following info:
- the maximum protection of your home
- the maximum peak you reach on average with your home
In this way, we prevent the charging station from causing a power failure. In addition, we restrict the peak power of your charging station to avoid high peaks in relation to the capacity rate.
What do we do?
As soon as we process your ticket, we will set everything up correctly on your charging station.
