Sometimes an SMS with a verification code may be blocked by a filter on your smartphone.
Would you please check the following? In many cases, this immediately resolves the issue.
Are you using an iPhone (iOS)?
- Go to Settings > Messages and check if ‘Filter Unknown Senders’ is enabled.
If this feature is active, you will not receive notifications from messages from numbers that are not in your contacts. The SMS may then end up in a separate folder (such as unknown senders or spam). - Also check via Settings > Messages > Blocked contacts if the number was accidentally blocked.
Are you using an Android device?
- Open your SMS app and check if the spam filter is active via Menu (3 dots) > Settings > Spam filter.
If this feature is enabled, the SMS can be filtered automatically. - Go to Settings > Apps, select your messaging app and check if notifications are allowed.
- Check via Settings if Developer options are enabled. If yes, it is best to disable them.
Try to log in again after these checks.
