Situation
Your employer offers you a charging station for charging your company car. You already have a charging station at home, purchased privately or via your partner's employer. To avoid installing a 2nd charging station, you would like to use this existing charging station. The aim is for your charging sessions to be reimbursed by your employer.
- Private charging station
The decision to take over the CPO management of your private charging station lies primarily with your employer.
In case your employer does not allow the takeover of a private charging station, you will most likely receive a proposal for the installation of a new charging station.
If a takeover is allowed, it also depends on the brand of your charging station. This is because not all charging stations are compatible with our systems. Click here for the compatibility list
- Your charging station is listed as Excluded from takeover
Then we cannot take over CPO management. Your fleet manager will most likely make you a proposal for the installation of a new charging station. - Your charging station is listed as Takeover approved or Takeover under investigation
Then there is a real chance that taking over CPO management is possible.
As soon as your fleet manager creates your file in our systems, you will receive an email inviting you to your online audit. In it, you can indicate that you already have a charging station. This is followed by a video audit. Based on this, we will decide whether we can take over the CPO management of your charging station.
- Your charging station is listed as Excluded from takeover
- Charging station via your partner's employer
Check with your partner's employer whether they are willing to share their charging station with another employer. Verify with the CPO operator of the charging station if they can offer a solution and submit this to your employer to see if this solution meets their conditions.
