The final price of a charging session at a MobilityPlus public charging station depends on the means of payment used.
There are 3 scenarios:
1. MobilityPlus charge card
When paying with a MobilityPlus charge card, we always apply the prices set by the operator on the MobilityPlus portal, including 21% VAT, in accordance with our no-uplift policy as an MSP.
In practice, this means that charging using a MobilityPlus charge card will always result in cheaper rates than those displayed at the MobilityPlus charging station. In the MobilityPlus app, you can see the actual rates that will be charged. Read more
2. A charge card from another MSP (Mobility Service Provider)
When using a charge card from another MSP, you pay the displayed rates at the MobilityPlus charging station plus any potential commercial uplift from the MSP and roaming hubs.
As a CPO, we are not informed about any uplifts on the part of the MSP. You can see the exact rates via your charge card provider’s app or website.
3. Classic means of payment (debit card, credit card, online payment method)
You pays the rates as shown on the charging station.
